Hi :) i'm 14, and I'm really curious about Ouija boards. This started yesterday on the bus, when 3 of my friends started playing with one. To make it less complicated, i'll tell you their names. They were Emma, Julie, and Marissa. It was a homemade one that Emma had drawn on a piece of notebook paper. They were using a gatorade cap as the plancette. They all put 1 finger o,n the cap and said, "ouija, ouija, ouija, 1, 2, 3," they turned it 3 times, when they said a number. Then they would ask questions. For example, they asked "are you a nice spirit?" And it almost always said yes. If i didn't, they put the "plancette" on goodbye to close the board. Emma one asked it, "how old is our bus driver?" And it went to the numbers 4 and then 7. We immediately asked the bus driver how old she was, and she really was 47. The spirits would sometimes tell us their names, like kaitlyn. However, it didn't always get things right. I've been doing research and the spirits don't always know the right answer. When i got home yesterday i drew one of my own and sat on my back porch. I tried to do it with a quarter, but it didn't really work, possibly because it we very windy outside. I went inside and it didn't work then either. I was a little frustrated and confused so i watched a video of this guy, Sam Thrower. He helped me understand OuiJa boards a little more and what to do. The last time i did it was with my 10 year old brother, and it didn't work. I came to the conclusion that I just wasn't in the right eviorment or something. Can anybody tell me exactly how it works, if homemade is better or worse than store bot, and your opinion of if Ouija boards are real or not. No hate. Thanks!
