How does the earth distribute heat energy around the earth?

Atmospherically it is the sun but within earth's crust is multiple magma chambers! I'm not a Scientist but I'm sure the chambers are linked with Volcanos which spew out those gases. Hope this was helpful enough...

Heat energy on earth, mostly from the sun, is distributed by currents in the atmosphere and oceans. In the atmosphere, the jet streams and trade winds are the prime movers. Hurricanes are a sign of energy in motion. In the ocean, there are warm and cool surface currents, and cold deep currents.

Energy is not a physical unit. It is a philosophical concept and an accounting technique used to analyze mechanical and chemical exchanges. In nuclear physics it is defined as a wavelength of light, in biology it is a synonym for metabolism, and in public utilities they say energy when they mean connectivity. Anybody who uses the word in any other context does not know what he is talking about.

There has been very little studying of heat transfer methods around the planet. We know that warm weather feels nice and that is about it for heat transfer. We have some vague maps of currents in the oceans. We know nothing at all about what is under the ground.
