How does God and Jesus feel about mainstream religion today?

We have been given a book to answer that question. It is not reliable to let people tell you what the bible says. Many people will make up stuff because they don't know what it says, and many will make up stuff because they don't like what it says. You just have to read it for yourself. Read a chapter of Proverbs every day. Proverbs has 31 chapters so you can keep your place by just looking at a calendar. There is no religion or nothing in Proverbs and you don't have to believe anything. Just read to find wisdom. When you are comfortable with that, then read the bible from Romans to 2 Thessalonians over and over until you start to remember what it says. That is the part that applies to Christians. Here is a book to help you to understand the bible. It's a free download and you can get a hard copy at any bible book store.

There are many bibles online. Most or all let you search for a word or phrase. If you search for "religion" you find it appears four times (Greek threskia) and all four emphasize that it is made up by men, not God. The fifth speaks of what God thinks.

Philosophy and the Truth
Those who have studied philosophy have developed the view that the ultimate truth is not within mankind’s reach. You may know that philosophy has been defined as “the science that endeavors to explain the origin of existence and life.” In actual fact, though, it rarely goes that far. In Filosofins Historia (The History of Philosophy), Swedish author Alf Ahlberg wrote: “Many philosophical questions are of such a nature that it is not possible to give a definite answer to them. . . . Many people are of the opinion that all the metaphysical problems [relating to first principles of things] belong to this . . . group.”
Consequently, those who through philosophy have endeavored to find an answer to the vital questions of life have often ended up dissatisfied or in anguish. In his book Tankelinjer och trosformer (Lines of Thought and Religious Faith), Swedish author Gunnar Aspelin said: “One thing we see is that nature is no more interested in man than in the butterfly and the mosquito . . . We are powerless, absolutely powerless, in the face of those forces that play their game in the cosmos and in our inner world

@eujenny, there is nothing in your post that addresses the question. Did you intend to answer a different question?

Most people believe in evolution or philosophy therefore the answer is correct. I think however I answered too many times and was not aware of this.

We need to remember that philosophy originated in a grove near Athens, Greece, sacred to the goddess of wisdom. IOW philosophy is a pagan religion!

This is what the Creator says. "Here I am against the prophets,’ is the utterance of Jehovah, ‘the ones who are stealing away my words, each one from his companion.’” (Jeremiah 23:30) This happened in the days of the Israelites and God destroyed them.
Today we have false prophets, religions and teachers who stole the force and effect of God’s words by encouraging the people to listen to lies rather than to the true warning from God. They were telling, not “the magnificent things of God,” but their own ideas, things that the people wanted to hear. The false teachers ‘stole God’s words’ and led the people to disaster. It was just as Jesus said about unfaithful religious leaders of his day: “Blind guides is what they are. If, then, a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”—Acts 2:11; Matthew 15:14.
As in Jeremiah’s day, there exist today false religions who claim to represent the God of the Bible; but they too steal God’s words by preaching things that distract people from what God, through the Bible, really says.

I know that's right! thumbs up!

“‘Here I am against the prophets,’ is the utterance of Jehovah, ‘the ones who are stealing away my words, each one from his companion.’” (Jeremiah 23:30) The false prophets stole the force and effect of God’s words by encouraging the people to listen to lies rather than to the true warning from God. They were telling, not “the magnificent things of God,” but their own ideas, things that the people wanted to hear. Jeremiah’s message was truly from God, and if the Israelites had acted on his words, they would have survived. The false prophets ‘stole God’s words’ and led the people to disaster. It was just as Jesus said about unfaithful religious leaders of his day: “Blind guides is what they are. If, then, a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”—Acts 2:11; Matthew 15:14.

Sometimes in life, more important than getting answers to our questions is to reframe our questions to get the right answers. If the question itself is wrong then how can the answer be right? How do God and Jesus feel about mainstream religion today? God is in command of everything, nothing happens without the will of God. Even our breath is because of the grace of God. The moment God decides to end our life, there would be no breath, there would be death. So why should we worry about how God and Jesus feel about religion today? Why don't we interpret our religion correctly? Why don't we go beyond religion to realize the Spirit, to follow spirituality which doesn't belong to any religion? Why don't we realize that God lives in the temple of our heart, why don't we go deeper to overcome our ignorance and find the right questions that need answers?
