Conflict doesn't hold anything together. In my entire voting life, I have never seen my country torn apart by the election of a president. People are vicious and nasty name calling bullies.
Blacks and whites are fighting more than ever.
This is the worst it has been since the Viet Nam war.
Conflict tears apart and ruins togethernes. It breaks my heart.
Conflict, which is a serious disagreement or argument, has never held anything together. It is more like a solvent that melts glue and makes a division between two stable relationships.
The first conflict ever recorded go back to the beginning of man's recorded history. The Bible says at Genesis chapter 3:2,3 "At this the woman said to the serpent: “We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden. But God has said about the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden: ‘You must not eat from it, no, you must not touch it; otherwise you will die.’”
Conflict: verse 4,5 "At this the serpent said to the woman: “You certainly will not die. For God knows that in the very day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and bad.
She listened to the serpent, instead of God, as the story goes on till our day we are in conflict.
(2 Timothy 3:1-5) But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.
There is an expression, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger however, after countless wars and millions dead, and so much sorrow, we can see that conflicts have solved nothing and man has, as Jeremiah 10:23 say has directed his steps to his own injury.
(Jeremiah 10:23) I well know, O Jehovah, that man’s way does not belong to him. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.
I hope this information has helped you in some way with this subject.
