How do you teach your dog to roll over?

I have a dog named Colin and when i try to teach him to roll over he doesn't understand. So how do you teach a dog to roll over?

get your dog to roll over then give him positive reinforcement

we taught a dauchshund by gently rolling him over after saying "roll over" then right after he was right-side-up we said "good boy" and gave him a treat. just get him to roll(however you chose to do it), then positively reinforce him the second he completes it. be persistent and do it a bit each day

not a brilliant dog trainer, but it worked with the one we taught
