I recently got a girlfriend about a month ago. She's really good at showing affection but I'm really awkward at it. I don't know if it's because I'm scared to show affection (I've had some bad relationships in the past) or if it's because I'm just not used to showing affection. I don't know how to show affection AT ALL. It's hard for me to even show affection to my own parents! I just never know what to do and I'm completely clueless. Help?

Copy what she does. Learn some of moves and use them on her only don't mirror it at the same time.
Watch PDAs of other couples and try those moves.
The very basic is hand holding and if you need instructions for that then you aren't ready for a relationship.

It seems you have a disconnect when it comes to being social which may or may not put you in the autism spectrum or possibly in another mental health category (see a psychiatrist if you want a valid evaluation). Showing you care could be hard and you don’t have to force yourself. When you care about someone enough sometimes it just comes naturally and when they care about you it’s much easier to get through and for you both to understand how to interact with you feeling this way. Take small steps in showing affection and let her know that you care no matter what even when you can’t always express it in the way you want to. You can take it slowly starting with things in your comfort zone and ease out of it. Start doing things maybe she does for you (eg: when she hugs hug back). When you become more used to this than you can initiate conversation or hug her first. The most important part is that you’re trying.
This can be hard but you can do it. 1.) are your parents affectionate with one another?
2.) did she grow up with affectionate parents ?
There are different ways to show affection. Vocal,physical,material.
Vocal
Does she compliment you?
Does she express her appreciation?
Does she have an affectionate name for you (baby,honey,love,) ?
Start small if you look at her and she looks good tell her. If your happy to be with her tell her. Give her a pet name like baby try it out see how it feels.
Physical
It’s the little things
A kiss on the forehead or cheek for no reason holding hand kissing her hand.
Hold her hand always hug her when you part.
Material
This might be easier write her a note. A little love letter tell her all the things you feel for her, all the things you like that’s she does what caught your eye why she bot like any other girl. Good luck
