To be blunt, naming people should not worry you that much in life. Later in life they can simply change it. Yes Kate, and other name are good, but boys would more of the outer appearances and if the girl is nice. There are conditions that boys required before a boy would actually talk to a girl.
1. Will - To talk.
2. Appearance - How she looks like.
3. Personality - Is she nice?
4. Attitude/Mood - Will she help me when I'm down?
5. Knowledge - Is she smart or not so smart?
6. Understanding - Does she know what I'm trying to say?
7. Liking - Does she like me? Or I like her.
That's all I can think that boys would talk to girls. Names don't really weigh on would people actually talk to her, but I would recommend to call someone nice, and something is meaningful.
