my family has a religion (christianity) and i dont know if its wrong or right, i tried asking help from my family but they tell me to have faith, and pray, and believe the lord will save me but i dont know if i should believe that, i tell them everyone thinks their certain religion is right and they tell me that they know theirs is right. I believe Gays are ok, im friends with some and im not saying its right or wrong but im saying i dont care if it is, im just so frustrated with myself and need help on how to know if i should just believe it just because my family believes it or not. im scared any answer i choose is wrong and ill go to hell.
How do you know if a religion is wrong or right, or what you have been taught is right ? help?

I can see your frustration with this and I applaud your honesty and sincerity, And I won't bombard you with answers. The first thing you should do is read your bible no one should persuade you with there own words the bible is Gods words and it alone should move you and your heart. In (malachi 3:10) Gods tells us to test him out and he will show you he is good! So I'm convinced that if you start reading the bible even just a chapter a day you will get your answers and directions in which way you should go in your life. I suggest starting in the book of proverbs. - You can also get answers to many more questions you might have by heading to JW.ORG and than type your question in the search box.
Hi ! I am a Christian ! The Lord gives us free will ! No one should be forced into becoming any certain religion ! Your best bet is to get a bible , read it for yourself and then decide what belief is right for you ! There is nothing wrong with being friends with a gay person ! No religion is easy to follow and live by either ! Your eternity is determined by you ! Everyone's sinful actions send them to hell ! God does not send anyone to hell ! You could try having a personal talk with Jesus ! Do not be scared , just be cautious and let the Lord and bible be your guide ! Take care ! Thanks
All religions are good, all religions are right but all religions are only kindergartens. They only teach us the ABC about God. Therefore, just like we grow from kindergarten and go to school and then university, we have to go from religion to spirituality. We don't need to change our religion, but if we truly love God, we must go beyond scriptures and religions. We must question what is wrong, and right - it is not for somebody else to tell us, we must realize ourselves whether what we are doing is correct or incorrect. When we ask questions and investigate with the gift of the intellect that we human beings are blessed with, then we will realize God. We will realize that we are all manifestations of God, that all religions ultimately cumulate into one spirituality that claims that we are all the same Divine Spirit.
