How do you fix Windows 10 Driver error?!?

So I was on my computer (Windows 10, keep that in mind) and I plugged in a USB Microphone (Rock Band Microphone for Wii/Xbox 360/PS3) (IT WORKED ON WINDOWS 7) and it had an error:
The Microphone malfunctioned since the last use (PS IT DID NOT BEFORE I UPGRADED TO WINDOWS 10) Tip:
Unplug it and try it again in a few minutes.
Well, I did, AND IT DIDN'T WORK!
The computer I have is a Compaq Presario CQ60 Notebook PC
It used to be a Windows 7 Home Edition, now, though, it is a Windows 10 Home Edition
The organization is WORKGROUP
It has a version of 1511
It's OS Build is 10586.318
The Product ID is 00326-10000-00000-AA320
The Processor is an Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU          900  @ 2.20GHz     2.19 GHz
It has an installed RAM of 3.00 GB

And it does not have a pen or a touch input.

I do not know why this is happening. PLEASE HELP!

I'm not to sure if this will help, but I have a Windows 10 and there was a recent update which made me not able to connect to the internet. I installed an thing called 'Driver Talent' on my phone and transferred it over to my laptop. I was then able to scan my laptop and it recognized what was wrong and I figured out how to fix it. It might be the update problem and be able to fix your USB problem. Just install 'Driver Talent' (think you'll have to download it from a website) and then see if it can fix it.

Hello! I think you can try ot use a useful program named Driver Talent. I installed it to my Windows 10 laptop. And it can fix all driver problem in my computer!
