I own a maroon red Berol Sideklick Mechanical Pencil, and it just stopped working. The front part of it doesn't come off, but you can empty the pencil out from the back, but when I look inside, it doesn't really have any contraption thing in it, and honestly, I'm pretty sure it never did. It has the button if the side of the pencil to eject the lead to write with, but when I press it, nothing comes out, and the button is very loose, and it's not making it's usual clicking sound when you press down. I don't know why, but I always love to insert the lead through the front tip of the pencil, rather than the backside where the eraser is, where you're supposed to insert it. I have never run into problems because of this. I put in 3 new pieces of 0.7 mm lead through the front part, and an hour later, it dropped on the floor, and after 3 minutes of usage after the drop, it was like it gave up. At first the button was pressed in and wouldn't budge, so when I tried to loosen it, the button came off. I already managed to snap the button back into place, but it simply just isn't working. It's not pushing the lead out like it's supposed to, but it does push out the little silver tip. Before I lost my pencil, and when I got it back, it turns out someone had stole the 'needlish' part from it, but that had been nearly a year ago, so I don't know why it would take effect now. The current pieces that I have is the pencil itself, the eraser cap, the eraser, the eraser holster, and a pale holster that goes inside the pencil that holds the lead, and I don't know if you'd count this as a separate piece or part of the pencil, but I also have the button, and it's currently connected to the pencil. (I don't know if I put the button back on backwards or what). I also have one remaining piece of lead (I threw out the other two), but I don't know if that counts for anything. Please help, I'm practically emotionally attached to this pencil, as stupid as it sounds.

I tried to put the button in the other way, but I had no luck. I saw the insides of it further because I removed the button, though. There is a long silver pole that the pale holster is supposed to connect to that feeds the lead through, and a little pale thing at the end of the silver rod that the button presses against to to make the lead go out and to make the button click.
