I was walking down the road when a bear attacked me, thankfully park ranger woody was nearby to beat him off with a stick. incase this happens again I want to know how to fend one off

myself i would carry a baseball bat or cane big enough to fend the bear off do exactley what the park ranger did so you know that its legal to use this type of tactics and you'll know what kinda things are allowed in fending off a bear this kinda tells the bear that he isn't the one in control of the matter
