How do you connect a second monitor to an all in one so it shows the same thing on both monitors?

I have a dell all in one. I am trying to connect a second monitor w a USB-VGA-165
so the same picture is on both screens. Right now I have both monitors up, but it's different pictures. When my pictures scroll across they are not in sync. The pictures are different on each screen. I need to have the same thing on each monitor screen.

If you're using windows, it's under computer settings (display) -> screen resolution, choose the option for duplicating display on both monitors rather than extension.
