Some stories and facts seem so unbelievable, how do we know if something is true?
How do you check if something is a hoax?

Wiki is a horrible resource. Anyone can change what it says. I could go to Hitler's page and say he had a cat named Pickles and had a rubber duck collection but that doesn't make it true.
It depends on how unbelieveable it is. If someone tells you that there are spiders in Africa the size of a bathtub then that's just common sense that no they are no spiders that big or I can guarentee you would already know because the population of Africa would be zero. But if it's about history you could try history.com they are very reliable. Wikipedia is okay sometimes but anyone can change the answers so I wouldn't trust it. If you're in school you try a textbook. You could also ask a teacher.
I do believe that is true:L
