I'm writing a novel, and I need to have a general idea of how someone you is intoxicated sees/perceives his/her surrounding. I need to know how different people act under the influence of alcohol. Thanks! :)
How do I write from the perspective of someone who is drunk?

There are plenty of sources online obviously. But some people, when drunk, either get sloppy, not violent, and others get mean but not violent, and others get violent.
While drunk, your judgement and motor skills and are impaired hence the laws against drunk driving. You can also experience nausea and an upset stomach [vomiting] panic attacks, even amnesia when you wake up in the morning, drunks often forget what happened the night before. No you don't hallucinate while drunk, that's a common myth. While you don't hallucinate, alcohol can make you think you did things or think something happened to you etc.
I'm not an expert on this topic but that's what I know about it.
