How do I trace a Craigslist ad? I am being threatened, HELP!?

I have already contacted the sheriffs and they say that I need to find the guys name. I thought that was their job, but they told me I have to do it. All I have is zzdxt-57727864 to go off of. Help me please.

Have you reported this to craiglist admin?  There is a place on the site to contact them and report these things.  Also, if you haven't given any personal information I wouldn't worry too much, unless it's super persistent.
