I might have an answer to your question and it may or may not work but I had a friend with the same problem. Now my friend joined ROTC it's a high school recruiting program. Most HS's have it ask your parents if you can join ROTC. ROTC is for if you join the military you'll be at a higher rank when you join the military. ROTC for my friend was incase he could not get into college he could join the military for a higher pay or you can go into ROTC and (mind you ask your parents first) if you go to college you will not lose your rank but when you go into the military after college you'll get a higher pay. Now parents are usually trying to prevent their kids from dying in combat. It could be a multitude of reasons but there is a reason they wont let you. I would still try to ask about ROTC plus you wont have to go as long to a Marine or army boot camp. I would still try the ROTC method. i know i have never answered a question on this website but i can relate to this. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
Why not join the National Guards? You can serve as a part-time soldier and go to college at the same time. Furthermore, the National Guard can provide you with tuition assistance, and in some cases they can even pay for all your schooling. It is definately something you would want to check out.
Thnx ill check it out
