So my names Brianna. Im 16 turning 17 in August and im a lesbian. I know for sure im one without hesitation! I play softball and pretty much friends with mostly girls. The problem is i havent told anyone besides the people iv dated and my mom and aunt. My friend on the team is a lesbian and everyone knows bout her, but still nobody knows about me. They think im straight cuz i pretend i am, but still im tired of hiding it. I want to tell them but dont want to be judged expecially by the ones im closest to. Im a huge tomboy, guys clothes and all. Maybe they know idk, but i rly want to tell them myself and dont know how. Any advice???

You know I may not be a lesbian but, telling something like that is like telling a secret, don't let it spread so fast! First tell your friend that you trust most and are closest to, and second, make sure you feel comfterable of possibly letting more people know. And if your good friends with the other lesbian, ask her advice, but make sure she does't tell anyone! Basically start to only tell friends you trust! And don't be afraid not to be your true self, don't fake, be yourself! I really hoped I had helped!!!!! (Respond back if I did)

My english is not good but i hope you understand. I think you should tell your friends, even your closest friends. You will feel so good and you will start to gain more self confidence. And you say that you are scared to loose them but this is you. You are sure that you are lesbian so eventually you have to tell them.
And trust me, most of them will say, 'we knew'
Why go through life pretending you're someone that you're not? There are many people in this world and no two are the same except maybe twins! Lol, don't hide the person you are just because someone will think different of you, Believe it or not you'll actually make more friends because they see you have courage and you aren't afraid to express the true you! If you're worried about your so-called friends not being your friends anymore just because of the secret than they really were not your friends at all, be who you are and don't pretend to be someone you're not, that's what makes you unique and one-of-a-kind!
Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Thank you so much i rly appreciate it!
