How do I stop my period from leaking from the backside?

I know this is an awkward question.....

   Whenever I'm sleeping or sitting down. My period always leaks from  the back of my underwear. I can't really do anything about it, my matress  sheet is white. This problem has leaded me to staining my sheets so many times it's worthless to try to get out. I can't use tampons,because I don't know how to put one in and I'm so young they don't make any in my sizes. Whenever I go to the store there are not any pads that extend all the way from the top of the under wear to the bottom. This has been an issue for quite some while now. I would appreciate it if someone would answer.

how old are you ? they have light sizes for women  and they have those O.B tampons you should really start trying to use one its easy to use the box comes with intructions ......maybe just wear a tampon at night

Wear 2 pads at a time and if that doesn't work then try using toilet paper on top.
Source: I have the same problem, however I still leak not while sleeping but while sitting.( I move a lot) The tissue thing is really helpful. Do try it and give me your feedback.
