I have checked for answers online and all I see are possible reasons why the cat would do it. We recently moved which is obviously why she is doing it. And no she does not have a UTI. I saw solutions like keep litter box clean always. It's always being cleaned so that doesn't work. I also saw to take her to the litter box when she is caught. Well she only does it when you turn your back for a split second. You only catch her as she's running away and then she hides between the fridge and the wall so you can't grab her to put her in her litter box. We put her food on the couch at night because we know cats don't soil near their food, so instead she pees on the love seat. We have resorted to putting things on the couch to prevent her from doing it but she manages to find a spot. She will do it as quick as leaving the house to check mail. This is getting ridiculous and we shouldn't have to do this. And no sense in spraying chemicals because she always finds a different spot to do it. She has also been chewing on things. I am really trying to find a solution to avoid adopting her out but it's getting to the point where I don't want to deal with it anymore. What do I do?? she's a nice cat and all but I am having such a hard time because you can't sit on the couch or love seat without smelling pee. Solutions for the smell is great but I strictly want suggestions on how to make her stop!
