Football tryouts are in less than A year. Also what position seems best for me? Through my entire Flag/Pop Warner football seasons. (6 years) I played Wide Receiver and Free Safety. But does sound good for me in High School? Im 5'10'' and 146 pounds. But what is the best way to get in shape? What is the appropriate diet for gaining muscle? Please answer all three of my questions, tryouts are A day I have dreamed of since as long as I can remember. Im willing to put it all on the line to make A team and become A starter.
How do I prepare for high school football tryouts?

Get stronger upper body muscles in the shoulders and legs, strong calfs are for football, do sprints everyday and work in the weight room on arms and upper body strength you'll need upper body strength and arm strength to tackle people, sprinting and calf musle to push players out of the way to make the tackle sprinting and timing awareness drills to be the fastest player and make tackles, if you can work on all this, you will be a star football player and get all the chicks haha, but yep good luck and stay dedicated!
