Im attending my father's wedding soon, and im the stereotypical twenty-something post-college slacker, while my future stepmother's family includes millionaires, world travelers, and nobel prize winners, with country club memberships/yachts, all that jazz. I've never met most of these people and they sound very intimidating, especially when i know they're gonna ask me what im doing with my life and i've got nothing. (The wedding is about a month and a half away so i dont have the time or money to do fascinating things that hold a candle) i cant even think of any white lies to tell.
How do I make myself sound interesting to a group of wealthy and successful people?

First off, don't evan think of lying.... Second, be yourself! If they don't like the real you, your father should stick up for you right? But if you don't like that idea, try look expensive... The more expensive you look, the more they should like you..tip: don't actually get expensive clothing! Think of all the possible questions that they could ask, then find an answer to them.... And go from there!
If your step-mother is nice, She will stand up for you, and you father should to... Just, enjoy yourself, if you're don't have everything together when it's the day of the wedding, avoid conversation and eye contact....
Well, first of, don't lie. It will all come out later so never lie. Now, you can always tell them the good side you have (eg. smart, humble, helpful) but don't boast about it or it will sound lke your just trying to impress them. Which you are but you shouldtnt show it. Just sorta blend in and if someone asks you who you are, talk politely and normal. No pressure.
