How do I know a girl likes me?

I'm 12 and in school I have this crush that I found out sits in my desk during German class which is basically the class divided into 2 rooms and my part of the class has to go to another room like in the next building so I found my name written on my desk and it's with a heart or something so that's about all she has done so she likes me or what?Also if she likes me how do I ask her out and how to react? Plus I'm in 7th grade and I'm athletic smart and pretty handsome.and have a ton of friends.

the best thing would be to find some activity outside of school where you will have a chance to hang out with this girl a bit and see if you really like her (after all, unless you already know her, she could turn out to be annoying or something)

something like a birthday party, or field trip is good...

if there is no possibility of this then you'll just have to talk with her at school.

go have lunch with her or something, that way you can see if you like her

Alright here's my advise to let you know she likes you.

1)She is looking at you a lot and sometimes smile at you.

2)If she is more beautiful near.

3)If she is playing with her hair or cloths its a sign that she likes you :D.
