I am a guy. I get a lot of messages from girls, but I never know how to talk to them over text. I always give short anwsers and never meet up. Sometimes I plan a date and don't text her until that day, most of the time I or she forgets that we were suposed to meet up.
What am I doing wrong?

Lack of interest. It is surprising how much effort men have to spend to get some attention from women. They take dance classes to learn how to move. They memorize books of poetry so they have something to say. They take drama classes so they know how to act. All to attract the attention of a woman. Either get with the program or get used to being lonely.
It could be the girls your talking to are wrong type. You should find a girl that understands how you are, if she is right girl it will all just come together and you 2 will just get comfortable around each other. I don't recommend texting to often as it will become a habit and make an unhealthy relationship. Best advice i could give you is just go out there and just do it. You will soon get used to feeling of being around girls.
