I have a friend who is dealing with depression, and I'm starting to get pretty worried. She is young, only in 7th grade. She admitted to cutting herself a little while ago and has scars all down her arm, but says she doesn't do it anymore. Sometimes she pretends that she never told me, and other times it's all she talks about. What should I do?

SO, this is a simple answer.
If your friend is dealing with depressition. Take her mind of things. Do something she LOVES to do as a spare time.. Kinda roll with it..
Then she will get her mind of things.
Tell her all the good memories you had with her and others.
That she shouldn't feel alone that she has you by her side at all times. That you simply love her.. :)
It is not difficult to impress upon a young child that in this world we bring nothing and take nothing, that the challenge of life is not just to be successful and to be an achiever. Young children are pressurised because there is competition in their class, they are not taught the reality of life. They have been taught subjects that may give them knowledge, but they have no wisdom about happiness, about life, about God. Therefore, when a young child believes in God, believes that the temple of God is within, is made to understand that the heart that beats is none other than the energy that is the Creator, a young child will get out of depression. There will be faith, trust, surrender, enthusiasm. When a child is taught to love God, to believe in God, is taught that God lives within us, why would the child be depressed? We must teach children to live with faith, with hope and enthusiasm.
