My grandfather was given up for adoption at birth, he doesn't talk about and refuses to. I'm trying to find out more about his birth family but not sure where to even start
How do I go about finding my grandfather's birth family?

If you can talk to his adopt parents or living relations you can ask them. Other than that you will need hire a lawyer to try to get those adoption records opened. Maybe a private investigator who could find away to get into those kinds of adoptions records. It isn't easy to do. It may cost you $1000s to find out.
where was he adopted from? In certain international countries, they refuse to let out any info about birth families. If you know his original last name, ethnicity, and features, you might be able to find out a bit. Just try not to upset him, adoption can be a very sensitive topic
