I fell in love with my friend.
She and I have been awkward for a really long time and I never found a way for us to be friends again after I stopped having feelings for her, so I decided to wait until summer break would be over and we see each other again next school year, hoping everything will be back to the way it was before. The problem is, I just got word that she's transferring schools because she and her family are moving! I really miss our old friendship and this school transfer thing just made it worse, 'cause I never expected us to end up like this. I was so ready to wait until after the vacation to get that friendship back, but I doubt we'll be seeing each other anymore. I've got unfinished business because I never even got the chance to right my wrongs and apologize. She was an awesome friend and so I feel really wasted.
There's gonna be an awarding ceremony tomorrow though for the outstanding students of the school year. She and I are both receiving awards so we'll both be there. Do you guys think I should just tell her? I don't even know what I'm supposed to say. Before she leaves, all I want is to be sure that she's not mad at me. A confirmed forgiveness from her would really set me free. That's all I'm asking for... I just don't know how I'm gonna go about this situation. The awarding ceremony's gonna be my last chance.
