Well, people often like to be surrounded by others who have high energy, someone's who smiles a lot and is outgoing. I get that your depression might pull you down, but if you try to smile(or fake one, fake it till you make it) more often, and or do some nice things for others sometimes. It's up to you but never forget to smile! :) Don't let depression get the best of you! Best of luck!
Don't self diagnose, by the way. If you view yourself as depressed without a real diagnosis, then it really will influence your mind, turning you very slowly into what you tell yourself what you are - depressed. Say good things about yourself. The pain isn't forever. It's temporary. I bet you're a really nice person.
For first impressions, smile and laugh a lot. Only if they're genuine though. Don't be rude and interrupt people. Study etiquette. Ask people how they are doing and always reply. Keep eye contact. Excuse yourself and always thank people for chatting with you. Compliment people.
