I have an older computer from about 2011...I need to get a notification noise for emails that come in...can anyone supply me the answer?
How do I get a notification noise for my email?...If that's even possible?

Go to google.com and search "email client". There are several. Most are free, many are no longer supported, all have annoying tendencies such as not remembering what is junk and what is not. The notification in every case is easy to miss and you don't get any options.
I fiddled with these for several weeks and finally gave up.
