I started Kumon because when I was 10, I didn't know my times tables. That was five years ago. Now that I am 15, I am currently doing level K work and that I am moderately advanced on what we are doing at school. But the downside is that it leaves me no time to finish my homework from school, and it's why I sometimes get in trouble, or get detentions after school for incomplete work. Considering Im in high school, it means that we'll be doing a TON of homework, and EXAMS! Because there will be a lot of exams through the years, it will mean that I have to study alot and that takes time, quite a lot of time to be exact; and because we are moving to our first bought home, which is far away, it will mean that I will have less time to complete all my work. I am trying to convince my parents especially my dad to stop my Kumon, but he simply denies it and says that he'll stop my Kumon once I've done/mastered Trigonometry. But I'll probably finish highschool before I get to learn Trigonometry at Kumon, considering it takes a long time to advance in Kumon, plus they mostly only do graphing, irrational numbers and such on most of the levels above mine, probably before teaching trigonometry. I know that my dad just wants me to have a better future and what not, but this is seriously killing me and taking my spare time to do any other stuff like, sports, or music. I really want to play the piano, but all this work that's going on is taking away what spare time I have, and I can't hang out with my mates because of this.
