My parents keep catching me when I'm on breaks during my work and they won't believe I'm working 8 hours a day (for tests that come in three months, by the way) including school. I work extra hours before and after school. My parents refuse to care about what I'm learning and mostly refuse to get involved at all, as long as they see hours ticked off on the sheet my mum wrote out for me. They claim that they're too tired to test me. Most other kids from my school don't work any extra hours and my parents don't believe this either. How do I convince them to be proud of me and the extra effort I'm putting in?
