I'm a sophomore in high school, and I really want to be home schooled, but I'm afraid to ask my mother. I have a few reasons why I want to be home schooled.
1.) I want to graduate as soon as possible, and I heard some home schooling programs can have you go year round if you wanted to, so I can GRADUATE EARLIER.
2.) I don't really fit in at the public school that I go to. There are friend groups all around me. I talk to some people sometimes, but that's about it. I don't feel wanted or needed. I'm the outsider I guess.
3.) At my public school I have less options for classes. I wanted to take psychology as an elective, but I couldn't because most people wanted to be in Accounting and Intro to Business. I've heard on online schooling you choose whatever you please for electives.
4.) If I did everything at home I'd save a lot of gas money. I live about 20 minutes away from my school because I live in the country on a small farm. I drive myself to school everyday which wastes gas.
5.) I'll have more time to make money at my job for college. With online schooling, I've heard it's very flexible. You could get all your homework done earlier in the day, and do whatever you want or need to do for the rest of your day. Therefore, I'll have more time to work to make money for college.

I just don't know how to ask my mom...
