My mom is A-okay with it. That is SO cool, I thought SHE'D be the tough one. My dad, though, well, he grew up with cat after cat. Don't ask. I've asked him before, and he went from "NO CATS." to "I don't like cats." which is a huge difference in a day. Please help!
By the way, we have a dog that likes cats. And I have $340. I am paying. I just need to convince him. Please, I've been researching on this for 3 months now, and now that I've asked, I CAN'T SLEEP AT NIGHT. Because he went on a 3 day business trip. HELP!!!
How do I convince my dad to get me a kitten?

My dad had cat after cat in his life. He does not like the smell of litter boxes, so I told him I would use a halter.

P.S He's a jerk. Sometimes he's a dad, sometimes he's the guy that makes you so angry you pee your pants (that only happened once when I was 8!).

Cats are great pets, easy 2take care of,feed etc
You Dad
.................
Yr Dad may have an allergy 2cats or a bad
experience with them???
There is a cat u can get which doesn't affect
allergies..no hair.
U need 2ask him why he doesn't want a cat
-would he consider another pet ??(Be patient)
Hopefully both of u can come 2 agreement.
Also, my grandpa on his side passed away last year. On August 1. And my grandpa was a cat-man. Like a cat-lady, but he's a man. Not a superhero. And he might not want me to be a cat-lady.
kid, I thought that issue was won, what happened? Guess we need to pray more for you. I think all Jitterbugs need a cute kitten for a pal.Let all of God's people who see this please pray God will grant my young friend a special kitten.Amen! Kid I may not be here much longer due to medical but I am yet your friend in need,ok? Don't totally give up but don't overlook the possibility God may grant it or He may have something you like better. He knows what the future holds but I know that He loves you dearly.let me know when this request is answered,ok?
Thanks
You know, that one never occurred to me. Thanks, I'll try it.
Well, I've gotten a few animals myself. First, tell him the breed you'd choose, and why. Tell him your research on that breed; breeds have different personalitys. You can also tell him where'd you place the litterbox, food and water bowls, those small things are actually very important! And also consider this: Is it gonna be an indoor or outdoor cat? You can write him up an "essay" on cats, and all your knowledge on them... But, do NOT nag to your dad, nagging can be annoying; and will effect what your dads opinion will be.
Hope you get a kitten, and good luck! :)
My parents never wanted a cat, my mom agreed with me and my dad didn't. Soon, I found a cute little sick kitten that few girls were beating up, I yelled at them (even if I was younger than them) and I took the kitten with me, when they both saw the cat, their hearth broke and we took the kitten.
So, show him a fluffy lil kitty
Not allergic, no bad past as far as I KNOW, just: "I don't like cats!"
