I have a college mate of mine who is just jealous of me for reasons unknown. She just picks quarrels with me, abuses me and calls by names like "twiggy", "needle" in front of everyone.
She is big, stout, dark lady, almost 10 inches taller to me and way powerful than me. She is a room mate of mine and has made a habit of mocking at my sizes and wants to show her power over me to everyone in the hostel.
I fell ashamed to tell this to my warden or parents. How do I deal with her bullying activities?
How do I confront a big, strong girl who bullies and embarrasses me in college?

There are many approaches you can take.
In my experience from being bullied in school I dealt with it different ways.
One way would be to confront her about it in front of other people to put her in the spot but be sure to not do it aggressively.
Another way would be to get her alone and talk to her one to one about it and say it makes you unhappy about the way she picks on insanitys, (even if it doesn't get to you) as she may see that it's making you feel crap.
A final way would be to talk to a friend about it and ask them to speak to her. This one can be seen to be bitching about her so could cause more repercussions.

I was bullied for numerous things. One being my figure. A girl didn't like me because I have a very athletic build and Every time she made fun If me I came back at her with quirky comments that were slight digs and made her feel the same as I was! She eventually stopped:)
I was also bullied by her friends for leaving the same dance school we went to to go to a theatre group instead and I just cut them all off completely as they were supposed to be my friends.. in the end they just let me be and didn't bother with me and moved into someone else
I've seen many people take fun by comparing my sizes with theirs. They want to show their strength by belittling my. Unfortunately this girl is even my room mate and I can't tolerate her. I once asked not to bully me in such a way but she just abused me and twisted my hands and I couldn't do much to resist her. I fear to confront her anymore, she is a big beast and I'm frightened what if gives me a knock? I just look like a 10 yr old kid in front of her.I fear her onslaught, what if she attacks me? She is a muscular giant and I'm no more than skin and bones. Were you bullied of your skinny build?
