A few weeks ago, a friend told me she had been looking for something. When I shopped, I managed to find what she wanted, so I bought it & she told me she'd pay me later. Just yesterday, I gave her the articles & she said.."thanks, girlfriend", but didn't offer to pay. This is not a gift. While the articles were just $15 in total, I could use that money this weekend. I don't feel that I should have to ask to be paid back, but it's the principle of the matter & like I stated, I could use that money this weekend.
How do I ask for it, or what kind of hint could I give? IF she had told me she gets paid next week & would repay me then, there wouldn't be a problem.
