How do I apply for a part time job while still working a different job?

I'm currently working at a fast food restaurant and I don't like working there so I need help on how to apply for another job. Do I tell the prospective employers that I am still employed but planning to quit? Do I quit first before applying for other jobs?

Answer

I wouldn't risk it.  I'd just apply, and once I get an offer, then I'd quit.  For regular jobs, it's polite (but not required) to give a notice (like 2 weeks), but for part time, I'd just walk out after quitting.
