How do garments industries contribute to our economy ?

The industries contribute like any other industrie contributes. The answer depends on your country. if your country creates the clothing, the industry is creating jobs. If your country imports most of their clothing (like North-America, most of Europe) it contributes because of money being put into our economic system. If you buy something, your money automatically contributes to the economy.
