How do farmers grow sugarcane?

first there are seeds and they are placed in the fertile ground. As time goes by and moisture allows the seeds to germinate the sugarcane stalks begin to come out of the ground. Once mature; the stalks are either cut down by hand or harvested mechanically. Then taken to a sugar processing factory for the refining actions.
