I have various things I would like to paint. The topside of microSD cards for one, a few jump drives, and a few adapters. Everything I want to paint seems to be a slightly different plastic. I have tried Rust-oleum Ultra cover 2in1 spray paint+primer which is latex paint. Even though it says "Also Bonds to Plastic!", the paint was way to gummy and my fingerprints left indentations at the slightest touch. The paint also immediately started chipping/flaking off. Then I used Pactra Racing finish spray paint (which I think is a subsidiary company/product of Testor), but when I remove the MicroSD card from a port, the paint on the tab end, the end my finger nail touches, comes right off. This is very frustrating. does anyone have any suggestions? Also, should I use a sealant or finish?
How do determine what paint to use on certain plastics?

To paint plastics can be tricky, I even found it difficult today to paint the plastic border of my bookshelf. I would suggest, although I don't know too much about painting for plastics, to use just normal paint in a can and brush it on. Leave it to dry with the objects near an open window, and be sure that none of the memory card contacts are touched by the paint. Wall paint is a good idea, when left to dry it should not chip.
I used magnolia wall paint on my bookshelf plastic, and left the window open, and it was smooth and didn't chip. I don't know if this will help, but any road, give it a go.
Oh, oh, sorry, I don't know about the last bit, but maybe a sealant wont be neccesary if wall paint is used.
