The FIRST crusade.
MULTICULTURALISM.
If the information is about the Europeans, crusaders, or Frankish and NOT related to the Middle East, please don't give an answer.
How did the first crusade affect multiculturalism in the Middle East?

Not so. Multiculturalism is a code word adopted by various people pretending to know something when they don't. The concept did not exist until just a few decades ago. People before the renaissance were pretty much unaware of differing cultures or even nations.
but wouldn't that just mean that the word was not invented?
And if it did mean that, than there would still be one culture interacting with another different culture.
You are projecting your viewpoint of modern time onto other people of other times. It may seem totally logical to you, but they did not think that way and it is a mistake to assess their actions as if they thought as you do.
Multiculturalism is is the co-existence of diverse cultures, where culture includes racial, religious, or cultural groups. Therefore, multiculturalism did exist at that time.
