How did pizza spread across the world ?

"Pizza" is simply the Italian word for pie - any pie. Every culture knows how to make bread, and some sort of flat bread is always used as a spoon or a plate to carry food to the mouth. Pizza did not "spread across the world", it is just a human thing to do. The same goes for sandwiches.
