This question requires a broad based answer to a query that can't be answered by historic anecdotal evidence. Its origins are too ancient. Racism I believe can have an actually simple answer. Human insecurity. Who are the people to whom I am superior? And who is responsible for my family being poor? I believe Anti-Semitism began with one of the Jewish peoples greatest God-given talents. Hard working with the knowledge that care of family is thy greatest responsibility. Henceforth, came successes. Families are well. Work more,we'll make more success. Well taken care-of families began to be resented. On the other hand, selfishness prevailed among the many. How come they all hang out together, their own church even? And look, theyall have a nice house, decent cars too, or really good horses and a buggy with a roof. Haves and havenots. We're so many , they are so few. The late 19th and early 20th centuries, a wealth of good jobs. The Depression. They have we haven't, and how come? Government intervention. Now the worst of animal behavior. What they have, they took from all of us and now we've got the power to teach them areal lesson. But don't tell anybody! And what springs forth? Horror. Worse behavior than even mad animals, because we can think about it. Where's the guilt hidden. That thinking and that behavior is still here, today. Only government is different, but there are "them" in government now. Was it over after WWII? If we can only teach our children, right from wrong. I'm sorry for using so many lines. JJB
