Not only do I have to wear one as part of my school uniform, but my mom now wants me to start wearing a skirt or dress all the time starting in the new year, she will no longer buy trousers for me, her logic is that because she wears skirts all the time, that I should be wearing skirts all the time as well.
How could I get out of having to wear skirts all the time ?

My mom wants all my trousers and pants gone from my wardrobe within the next three weeks, she has made up her mind that I will be wearing skirts all the time from the first of January 2017.
I really don't want to wear skirts all the time, but it is really starting to look like I have no choice in the matter .

She is actually serious about this, I was just talking to her, she said they have to be long or midi, that she is getting me a selection of new skirts for Christmas and she does not want to see me in trousers any more !

Darn, that sounds awful. That's not right that your mother is taking away your trousers just because she wants you to dress like her. You see, every one is different and your mother shouldn't force you to do anything. You two need to talk it out and show her how you really feel. If she's a good mom she'll help you and you two can sort it out. Don't force anything upon her, but again, try to work it out. Try to make each other understand.
