How come the ice is slippery but yet a solid ?

ice is frozen water so it should be slippery like a wet floor

There is little surface to resist movement meaning less friction. Ice sometimes has water on top of it especially after it would be let out in the sun

Cause it is made from special ice that doesnt melt but it melts when it is in the sun for a long time.
