Seeing you didn't put a lot of information, I'm afraid I can't give you a direct answer.
The reason is usually based on your friends' personality. They may just find it easier to talk to you face to face, or they just don't want to text you. Another reason may involve the fact that they don't feel the need to text you which can revolve around many things such as not wanting to be friends with you, or not having the time to do so. Ask them about it.
