How can you delete whole pages of dialog from Messenger without having to delete it word by?

Have you tried pressing Ctrl-A? That selects all in a field. Ctrl-C copies it to the clipboard, Ctrl-X deletes it, Ctrl-Z undoes the last action, and Ctrl-Y does it again.

Click and drag along the text that you want to delete, and then delete it.
