How can I use part of a song on youtube? Would 18 seconds of a kiss song violate any copyrights? I have been reviewing youtube policy before uploading my video but cant find this. The intro I have would be absolutely epic if I can use it, but it may violate there policy and I can not find information on it.

If it is a famous persons song, yes you can use it as long as you put on your description what the song and whom it belongs to. If it's a musician who isn't famous, you do the same but you have to actually get thier permission to use it.
