I have this problem with over thinking in which my mind creates problems that never happened. How can I stop this problem and should I see my medical doctor about this problem?

I have had the same problem. I would recommend that when you start to over think things tell yourself that you are being ridiculous. It seems harsh but that is how I have learned to deal with my brain creating situations that don't exist. If you are having panic attacks or get extremely anxious I would go see your doctor.
How can you stop overeating? By having the willpower to stop eating. Otherwise, you can eat and eat. Some people don't eat to live, they live to eat. How can you stop overwalking or overrunning or overexercising? Some people walk four hours a day. Some people run for two hours a day. But some people realize I don't want to hurt my knees, and they choose not to run more than 30 minutes or walk more than 90 minutes. Just like we can choose how much we eat, how much we walk, how much we run, we can choose how much we think. This is provided we don't let the mind become our master, then we become a slave. But if we take charge of the mind, if we become the master, consciousness inside controls the intellect to control the mind. If we tame the monkey mind and make it into a monk then we can control thinking, we can be a master of our destiny.
