I formerly weighed 260 lbs., but now I weigh 308 because of my roommate. She keeps giving me junk food and every time I try to say no, I can't resist because I love the food she makes and I am getting free food so I have more monry. I really love the fact I save money, but I don't like the fact of my weight going up. Although the money is nice, I try to save as much as I can to pay for college, so I am sometimes stuck with previously fitting clothes and people judge me. I like the money, but I want to lose weight. I don't know how to talk to my roommate about this though. I am thinking I should start buying her junk food.
How can I stop getting fatter?

I understand how you feel because i too weighed a lot and since being with my boyfriend of 5 year have gained more. He is very thin and doesnt eat all to healthy and tends to get me things when he eats too. I tell him consistantly not to but he still does. The thing i found best for me was to download an app on my phone that counts calories. It isn't fool proof but it will definitely make u more aware of what your consuming. You just plug in what you eat and it shows you how much calories is in it. the one i use is called MyPlate, you can put in your weight and your goal and it will tell you how much you should consume in a day. I mean its best to be healthy but one step at a time, first you might have to come into realization of just how overboard you're going. Remember, take it slowly, the faster you lose, the more chances you will end up reverting back to old habits.
I had the same thing with my boyfriend he would bring me all sorts of fast foods even when I wasn't really hungry but I couldn't just let food go to waste so I would eat whatever he brought me and now I'm almost 315 Ibs I was about 289 a few months ago. Is it sad that I like to gain weight and being fat is something I enjoy?
