How can I reply to "that's what I thought

the best thing i could come out with was these :" i never knew you had your own thoughts" (its lame.. i know) or you can try this one which is also lame : "well im surprised because you even know how to think" (my english is terrible maybe you can fix the sentences and make something good out of them :D)
