How can I open a locked door on 78 Cadillac?

Details:

one of the rear doors is locked and I cannot neither unlock it, nor open it, is there any way to get a locked and closed door open to fix the mechanism?

If you can get in, remove the door panel to have access to the locks and move the bar with your hand
